CHAPS' Community Education and Outreach program (CEO) offers information, speakers, and connections to resources on mental illness, self-advocacy, and other pertinent mental health topics. Educational programs and resources are offered within CHAPS and in the community. An essential part of the CEO program includes NAMI support Groups and Education Programs. The following support and education programs are co-sponsored by NAMI and CHAPS:

The NAMI Family Support Group is a support group for the families and friends of people with mental illness. This group meets the first Tuesday of every month at CHAPS from 4:30-5:30 PM.

The NAMI Care Peer Support Group is a support group intended for people with mental illness. This group meets every Monday at CHAPS from 1:30-2:30 PM.

The NAMI Family-to-Family Education program is a 12-week program, led by trained family members, and is geared toward assisting families and friends with understanding insight and empowerment for individuals with mental illness. This group meets once per week for 12 weeks. The meeting site is announced prior to the start of each session.

The NAMI Peer-to-Peer Education Program is a 9-week education program, led by trained peer facilitators, and is geared toward assisting individuals with mental illness to prevent relapse and fight the stigma associated with mental illness.
