Programs

CHAPS' program provides services to approximately 600 individuals per year.  Available programs include a Drop-In-Center, a Clubhouse, Representative Payee  Services, Housing Services, Warmline, Community Education and Outreach, Certified Peer Specialist and Mobile Psychiatric Rehabilitation. Office and Journey Center Hours:
Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Saturday & Sunday: Closed
Holidays: Closed

Drop In Center Hours:
Monday - Sunday: 8:00am - 8:00pm
Holidays: 8:00am - 6:00pm

  • A safe environment for mental health members to drop in 365 days a year for socialization, peer support, and empowerment.

  • Based on an international clubhouse model, the Journey Center is a place where staff and consumers work side-by-side on projects and jobs to complete "the work-ordered day" in a collaborative effort to lead happy, healthy lives.

  • MPR is a program that assists consumers in accessing out-of-office resources and building skills needed to maintain good mental and physical health and to become as independent as possible.

  • A one-on-one model of support and non-traditional therapy that assists consumers reach recovery by building on strengths and skills.

  • At CHAPS, we serve individuals experiencing homelessness in Crawford County to assist them in finding permanent housing. We also manage a number of housing programs including Fairweather Lodge Housing, Housing Now, Emergency Solutions Program, and Shelter Plus Care among others.

  • Based upon individual need, our staff assists clients in managing and budgeting money in a responsible way.

  • A non-emergency, confidential peer support line for mental health consumers and family members.
